Section 110
Consumables for sale should not be hoarded without selling
(1) No one shall create an artificial shortage in the market of any consumer goods to increase the price of such goods or to sell such goods at a higher price or to make unfair profit from the sale of such goods or to hoard or hoard such goods without selling or distributing them.
(2) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be imprisoned for up to five years and fined up to fifty thousand rupees.
